Inject filler

With this procedure people can have some non-surgical implants put into their face to correct certain issues. People that may have sagging cheeks may consider this type of treatment.

In some cases women may go further with surgical procedures like a face lift or eyebrow lift. These are a bit more costly because these treatments require surgery. In most cases the level of treatment depends on the person and the desired effect that they are looking for.

Some women appreciate a professional touch, but there are actually things that can be done from the comfort of home. A body scrub, for example, is something that can be done from home that will provide a cleansing for the entire body. There are an abundant number or products on the market that provide lots of great scents. Many of these body scrubs do an amazing job with clearing up oily skin. The scrub can help with flaking skin as well. These types of products will leave the entire body feeling refreshed.

Beauty treatments can also come in the form of waxing. A bikini wax or an eyebrow wax can be done at home, but most people prefer the professionals. These treatments are as popular as facials.

Facials are done to provide some relieve for people that have bad acne. So many people develop bad acne over time because they fail to cleanse their skin properly. It may take a couple of products to remove oil and makeup from the skin. This type of beauty treatment is really more trial and error. Everyone has different skin issues so the various skin clean products have to be tested until the right one is found.

A Guide to Giving Yourself a Manicure

Many people go to the salon to get a manicure, but did you know that you can give yourself a great manicure at home? You can! All you need are a few key items to get started. Make sure you have an emory board (classic nail file), an orange stick (for cuticle pushing), a cuticle clipper or pair of small nail scissors, a small bowl of warm sudsy water, a nail buffer, an oil of some kind (olive oil or jojoba oil work best), a clear top coat/bottom coat nail polish, a nail polish in the color of your choice, a few q-tips, and a towel for clean up. Once you have all of these items, follow the advice in this article, and give yourself a wonderful manicure.

The first thing you want to do is wash your hands thoroughly. Then, take me an emory board and even out all of your nails, making sure to get in on the corners where cuticles can build up. Make all of your nails even with each other, even if that means whittling them down further. Next, set up a movie, and put your hands into a small bowl form sudsy water for approximately 10 minutes. During this time, just hang out and wait. After the 10 minutes is up, take out your hands and dry them off.

Now that your cuticles are softer, you can use your orange stick and slowly and gently push your cuticles back. If you have a few pieces of nail or cuticles that are hanging off, use your cuticle clippers or scissors to cut them. Once that is done, go back with the emory board and even out your nails again. Next, use your nail buffer to soften the bed of the nail and even out any ridges.

Finally you are ready to paint your nails. First use your top coat/bas ecoat to lay down a clear layer on each nail. Once that is dry, use your chosen nail color and put on one layer. Let that dry, put on another layer of your chosen nail color, and finally, once that is dry, follow with another clear layer of polish. Wait at least 20 minutes to dry.

Remember, you don’t have to pay $40-$50 for a salon manicure. You can do it at home for a fraction of the cost. And it can be a fun activity to do with your girlfriends, daughters or granddaughters. Follow the advice in this article, and try it today!

Guide To Bicycle Helmets: Read Before You Buy

Bike Helmet tb

There are many qualities to consider when you start thinking about buying a new bicycle helmet. The first priority should always be safety and the protection provided by the new helmet. One of the first things to consider is the road conditions you’re most likely to use the helmet on. People usually have three different types of styles to choose from: sport, mountain bike or road bike helmets.

Helmet Styles

Sport helmets are designed for multi-purpose use and are generally the least expensive purchase. Road bike helmets are often the most expensive because they feature aerodynamic designs and sophisticated ventilation. Aside from picking the right style, it’s equally important you find the best size as well. You can use a string to measure the circumference of your head, an inch above the eyebrows, in order to figure what size helmet you need. Most helmets are available in one-size fits-all as well.

Regardless of the size, it’s typically best to choose a helmet that comes equipped with adjustable straps. Any good helmet typically comes equipped with an adjustable chinstrap. Aside from adjustable straps and adequate ventilation, good helmets are often constructed with safety features as a top priority. Look for helmets that have a comfortable liner on the inside. This material is designed to absorb the impact in the event of a collision. Some helmet designs fuse the outer shell and the inner liner without the use of glue, these products are typically lighter and stronger.

Helmet Features

According to Barang Bike helmet expert, helmets are usually more expensive when they weigh less. There are also helmets designed with sun-visors or special ports for ponytails. Adequate ventilation is important in a good helmet because as the bodily activity increases rises, the head needs to be able to regulate the temperature. Some of the most sophisticated helmets on the planet, often used in the Tour de France, incorporate inserts of carbon fiber to increase protection and strength in the outer shell.

Helmet Advice

Helmets should be replaced every 5 years or sooner if recommended by the manufacturer. A helmet should also be replaced anytime it’s involved in a collision. A few different helmet designs include the flip up, ½, ¾ and full face. The helmet designs with full face and head protection provide you with the most safety while riding your bike. Studies indicate that helmets reduce the risk of head or brain injury by 65 to 88 percent. A cyclist wearing an inadequate safety helmet may be 2.5 times more likely to suffer a brain injury that someone wearing a good helmet.

Some of the materials the best helmets are made of include Kevlar, carbon fiber, ABS plastic or fiberglass. The liner inside these helmets is composed of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam that fractures upon impact in order to protect the brain from any potential trauma. There are also a few helmets available that feature accessories like removal-washable liners or Bluetooth/GPS enabled headsets. Just make sure that nothing on the helmet impairs your vision when you are out riding the bicycle around town.

How To Buy The Right Bicycle for Kids

kid bike tb

Just like clothes, beds, car seats and shoes, kids need to have the right size bicycles to ride safely and comfortably. The first self-propelled vehicle children often have are walkers that help babies develop leg strength and mobility. The next is likely to be a pedal car, a three-wheeled pedal vehicle or a standard tricycle. It is the bicycle-using years where more attention to size and features must be given in order to promote safety and permit children to enjoy the freedom that cycling allows.

Choosing the Size of the Bicycle

Bicycles are most commonly sized by the diameter of their wheels. Adult bicycle choices additionally have frame types and size to consider. Where adults may be more comfortable pedaling bicycles where they have to stand on tiptoes to straddle the seats, bicycles for kids should permit them to straddle the seats with their feet flat on the ground. This is due to the issues of developing balance as beginner riders.

Choosing the Correct Type of Brakes

Bicycles with hand brakes should only be operated by children with enough hand strength to use the brakes. Hand brakes, especially for the front rims of bicycles, requires skill development to prevent accidents that can send children tumbling over the handlebars. Coaster brakes that work by rearward pressure on the pedals are usually the best choice for bicycles for beginner riders.

Kid Bicycle Training Wheels

Training wheels add stability to the rear wheel of standard bicycles for children. As children are learning how to balance on two-wheeled bicycles, training wheels help to prevent tip-over accidents. However, they are not as stable as a tricycle. The benefits of training wheels are that they can be removed, making the purchase of another bicycle once balance skills are acquired unnecessary.

Multi-Speed Bicycles

Bicycles with multiple sprockets to switch gears should be introduced to children who have good balance and experience with hand brakes. The concept of how the gears work may be difficult for younger children to understand. This may cause unsafe riding conditions with the chain not fully engaging sprockets correctly. A broken or slipped chain can lead to an accident. Also, many multi-speed bikes do not have extensive chain guards like single speed and some three-speed bikes have.

Children Outgrowing Bicycles

A circus clown riding a tiny bicycle is humorous, but it can be dangerous for children. Bicycles should fit the current physical development and riding skills of the children riding them. Just as you would not expect children to wear shoes that are too small or too big, the same goes for bicycles and the safety gear used for riding. This does mean you must be willing to replace equipment your children may outgrow in a single season, but it is the safest thing to do.

Safety Equipment

All bicycles should have approved front, rear and side reflectors. Adding a flexible fiberglass pole and warning flag is a good idea too. The florescent orange flags and poles are unobtrusive yet serve as a visual warning to help motorists see cyclists of all ages. They typically are higher than the tops of many vehicles, allowing a motorist to see movement before an actual bicycle is seen. Proper fitting helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and even gloves should be mandatory even though most states only have helmet laws for minor children. Also, a headlight is also required in most states for riding a bicycle at dusk or night.

You do not need to fret over which brand of bike to get as long as it is well made and assembled correctly. However, it is necessary to regularly inspect components for excessive wear or damage, and it is necessary to follow the routine maintenance requirements recommended in the owner’s manuals of bicycles. Sensitive Skin Issues: Will Organic Skin Care Help?

Skin Care organic

Look down any pharmacy aisle for skincare products. There will be a long row of several shelves with neatly aligned bottles of products, most of which contain the same ingredients. However, most of the ingredients in those products are synthetic chemicals. Most are benign with some actually being helpful. For those with sensitive skin though, they can be a problem.

The War on Your Skin

Your skin is the largest organ your body has. It is also exposed to everything in your environment. Every day your skin is assaulted. The sun in the sky, the chemicals in the tap water at your shower or bath, and the solvents, preservatives, surfactants and colorants in personal hygiene products can be offensive to sensitive skin or actually cause skin to be sensitive. Even clothing has detergent residue, fabric dyes and chemical antimicrobial treatments. Plus it can cause a mechanical (rubbing and friction) irritation to skin. Parts of the skin that receive the severest abuse react the most violently. Typically, this is your hands or face.

❤ What Does Organic Mean?

Fundamentally, organic means it comes from living matter. A plant is organic, and most rocks are inorganic. Coal, since it is made from organic matter, is organic. However, in the food and personal care products industry, organic has a different meaning. The USDA has clear definitions as to what “organic” means when it comes to food, including everything from the soil it is grown in to any methods used to control pests. For personal care products, there are gray areas in how companies are defining the word. All of the ingredients in personal care products need to be considered safe for their intended use. Some synthetic chemicals as well as plant-derived ingredients can be irritating to skin regardless of whether they are certified organic or not.

USDA Organic Definition

❤ Will Organic Skin Care Help?

A company producing products intended for organic skin care for sensitive skin (see MyLifeInc) is hoping to earn your loyalty as a customer through products that do not contain any harsh and potentially irritating chemicals that would make your skin conditions worse instead of better. The goal is to produce ultra-high quality products that contain ingredients known to help your sensitive skin heal. Therefore, it is quite likely that a certified organic skin care product will produce better results, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Your sensitive skin is likely intolerant to many synthetic chemicals. In skin care products, synthetics are used in everything from the fragrance to the active ingredients intended to moisten, protect and heal your skin. An organic skin care product is likely not going to contain any harsh chemicals for fragrance, coloring or even as active ingredients. If your old products burn, cause any redness or make your skin worse, try an organic skin care product for a few weeks instead.

❤ Why Do Organic Skin Care Products Cost More?

Synthetic chemicals used in standard skin care products are produced in huge industrial batches and sold to manufacturers to be blended into products. Organically-sourced ingredients for products intended for use on sensitive skin cost more due to the requirements of how they are made, and the fact that they are most often made in much smaller batches than the industrially-derived synthetic ingredients.

In the manufacturing of products, the goal is to sell and make a profit. Consumers are brand and price oriented. Makers of skin care products earn more when industrially-derived synthetics are purchased in bulk to mix their product formulations. Organic skin care products are still a niche market yet may provide relief to sensitive skin that cannot be found in any of those other products lining the pharmacy shelves.

What You Need to Know About Laser Lipo

Liposuction is one of the most frequently-performed cosmetic surgery procedures, and laser liposuction brings the high-tech benefits of medical lasers to the procedure. Areas frequently targeted for fat removal via liposuction include ankles, arms, buttocks, thighs, upper arms, waist and knees. Not intended as a weight control method, the procedure allows for fat removal and sculpting of specific areas of the body.

What is Laser Liposuction?

Laser liposuction is the latest advancement in the liposuction procedure. In traditional liposuction, a small incision is made in the fat layer beneath the skin and a hollow tube attached to a vacuum is inserted. The tube is moved around to break up the fat, which is then sucked out of the body. Prior to the procedure, you may have local anesthesia, intravenous sedation or general anesthesia administered along with a saline solution to the part of the body targeted for liposuction. Laser liposuction differs from the traditional form of the procedure in that it utilizes medical laser beams to liquefy the fat before it is sucked out, making it easier to vacuum out and allowing a larger volume to be removed.

How does Laser Lipo work?

Benefits of Laser Liposuction

Lasers are also known to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and make the skin contract, producing the much-coveted firming and tightening effect and a smoother appearance to skin in the area. Laser liposuction may also leave the skin with more elasticity than traditional methods, making it a potentially better choice for areas such as the abdomen that lose elasticity faster. The procedure does not appear to cause the sagging effect often seen after traditional liposuction, a particular problem in tummy reductions. Also, because lasers coagulate small blood vessels, they tend to create less bruising.

How It Works

Unlike standard liposuction, laser liposuction can be more easily performed with local anesthesia, rather than requiring general anesthesia. A thin laser fiber focuses low energy waves on the part of the body where fatty pockets are being removed. The laser’s energy is able to target the fat with affecting other tissue, promoting faster recovery, and the procedure has been found to cause less trauma at the site of tube insertion. A discussion with your plastic surgeon will allow you to weigh the pros and cons of traditional versus laser liposuction.

Special Considerations

Following the procedure, you may be sore or swollen for a few days, and your doctor can prescribe pain relievers to get you through this period; most people can return to work within a few days. As time passes, you’ll notice your skin tightening and firming as new layers of skin form, a process that may continue for up to six months. Common side-effects include bruising, swelling, minimal bleeding, infection, numbness or a burning sensation. You may be advised to wear a special compression garment to assist healing.

Laser liposuction is being used increasingly for its shorter recovery time, more efficient removal of fat and noticeable results of smoother, more elastic skin. As in all cosmetic procedures, be sure your physician is a board-certified plastic surgeon with specific experience in laser liposuction. More on Laser Lipo Shape here.

The Right Nutrition Stops Hair Loss Naturally

hair care

There are several reasons that can cause both men and women to see more and more hair in their brushes. Thyroid disorders, vitamin deficiencies, menopause and the natural aging process are some of the culprits.

If you suspect your hair loss is due to a medical condition, you should seek the advice of a doctor. However, a metabolite occurring naturally in the body called DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is the cause of male and female pattern baldness. In this case, a hair loss clinic can be of great help. There are some ways to control hair loss naturally, and if you have ruled out a medical condition, read more medical advice for hair loss info here.

Nutritionists who specialize in advice for healthy hair and skin believe that people should get nutrients such as vitamins and minerals from the foods they eat. A surprising number of people really don’t eat a very good balanced diet each day. Protein is an important nutrient for hair. It promotes growth and strengthens hair.

Vegans, vegetarians and others may not get adequate amounts of protein. Three servings of meat are recommended daily to ensure that you are taking in enough protein for optimal health. If you don’t get protein from meat, eat four to five servings of a combination of beans and dairy. For other nutrients important for healthy hair, eat a variety of foods including at least six vegetables and two different fruits. Don’t get in the rut of using almost the same menu each day. Fish, nuts, seeds and eggs are good sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 reduces inflammation in the body, leading to a healthier scalp.

Hair Loss Through Breakage

Hair should be handled gently. Some of the daily wear and tear can cause hair breakage. This is like “salt in the wound” for thinning hair, and detracts from the healthy look of hair that is not thinning. Some of the things that cause hair breakage are chemical processes like dyes, perms and highlighting kits. Styling products like hot curlers, hair dryers, curling wands, straightening and crimping irons and rubber bands can be hard on the hair. After washing, let hair air dry until it is just damp. Then finish with the hairdryer and other styling tools.

Do not brush the hair too much or wash it too often. Use gentle shampoos and conditioners. If your hair is thinning, don’t stop styling it altogether. This can lead to dissatisfaction and stress, the next culprit of hair loss. Keep hair short and try parting it on the side. This will distract a thinning crown. Hair extensions can be purchased that boost volume. There are also body-boosting hair products available.

Hair Loss Through Stress

Physical and emotional stress can cause hair loss. Try to reduce or eliminate stress in your life. Learn ways to deal with the stress that you cannot eliminate. The problem of hair loss can be stressful in itself. Don’t let this become a vicious cycle. Some hair loss is normal from time to time, so you may be worrying for nothing.

Calming Benefits of Drinking Tea

Long revered as a drink associated with a number of physical benefits, such as weight loss, cancer prevention, and reduced cholesterol, tea is universally adored by dieticians and health enthusiasts alike. Tea bears a cargo of healthful antioxidants, along with caffeine and theanine, which are able to contribute to concentration, mental alertness, and the bettered state of your mood. As such, settling down to a freshly brewed cup of green or black tea is considered a ritual that will reduce stress and improve productivity, effective as a jump-start to an early morning as much as a pick-me-up in the afternoon.

Much in the way that different types of vegetables each carry their unique contribution to one’s wellbeing, the variety of tea you favor will come with its personalized strata of benefits. Redmart Japanese green tea  is not only apt at minimizing the risk of a slew of cancers, but it contains L-theanine, an amino acid which combats anxiety and works with caffeine to improve general brain function. Green tea’s moderate level of caffeine results in a boost of energy without the overwhelming jitters produced by coffee, leaving the drinker with a balanced sense of focus and improved creativity.

Pokka oolong tea is reputed as a contributor to a healthy bone structure, while also harboring healthful polyphenols which ease the mind and reduce stress. The brew itself is especially fragrant, providing for the sensual relaxation which is often sought through aromatherapy. Oolong tea is a feel-good drink which mediates between green and black tea; it can improve skin complexion and dental health, which in turn can serve as a boost to self-esteem.

The most highly caffeinated of teas, black tea is best brewed for an increase in energy and an elevated mood. Unlike coffee, black tea is not harmful to oral health, and its stimulation of the heart and respiratory system heightens cardiovascular wellness. Not to mention, it is capable of significantly strengthening the immune system, which reduces the risk of viral diseases and overall leaves the body feeling more vigorous.

Whatever the tea, there is an indisputable pleasure connected with establishing its presence within your daily regimen. Experts agree that in order to truly benefit from tea consumption, drinkers should set aside time to enjoy three to five cups a day. Each cup of tea provides for a brief respite from laborious, stressful situations, as well as something pleasant to be anticipated throughout each day. Tea breaks enable you to slow down, gather your thoughts, and breathe while indulging in something that is proven to be good for your health, both mentally and physically.
